Become a UniCann Student- it's easy!Step One: Choosing Your Courses We are the largest Online Cannabis University that offers over 25 different medical marijuana courses and 10 different educational topics. Your first step is choosing which Online Classes interest you. You can browse our Online Classes and look at all of the individual classes we offer. To see which difficulty level is right for you and what our course numberings mean, see our UniCann Course Difficulty Levels page. Classes are usually scheduled during evenings and weekends so you don't have to miss work or school. Make sure to check the Course Calendar to see the schedule of all our UniCann courses. Step Two: Enrolling OnlineOnce you’ve selected your course, it's time to Enroll. UniCann does not have any pre-requisites and our registration is open to anyone over the age of 18. To make sure your computer will work with our Online Classes please see our Computer Requirements page. The cannabis course enrollment process is a very quick and simple process. You simply choose the courses you want to take from the Course Calendar and provide us with some of your basic information. Before choosing your classes make sure to see our Special Offers & Discounts as we are constantly running new promotions for our students. After selecting your Online Classes, you can Enroll through our secure site with your Credit Card or Paypal account. Once your enrollment is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with a course syllabus for the classes you have enrolled in and details about the class. The course syllabus will give you a detailed course description, who the professor is, what the learning objectives are and list any recommended textbooks for the course. If you have any questions regarding the course or help enrolling, you may always Contact Us. For information about changing a course date or canceling, please see UniCann's Changes and Cancellation policy. Step Three: The Class The email you receive after registering for your class contains log-in instructions and a password. You can follow the link provided in the email and enter your password on the day of the lecture to access the virtual classroom. If you have never taken one of UniCann's Online Classes before, it is recommended that you log into your class at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the lecture so you can get familiar with the user interface. There will be Teaching Assistants (TA's) available to answer any of your questions before the lecture even begins. Each class is generally 3 hours long, with two 10-minute breaks. Generally, the first 2.5 hours of the class will be for lecture, labs, quizzes, group work, videos and demonstrations. The last half-hour is an open Q&A section dedicated to answering your questions. If you have any problems, there are always several TAs available to assist you during the lecture. For more information on class formats, please see UniCann's Online Class Format page. Each class will have a final exam at the end. In order to receive Academic Credit you must pass the final exam with 70% or higher of the questions answered correctly. The final exam is accessible Online, and you will have 7 days to complete the exam after the class is over. You will be notified immediately after submitting your answers what your final exam score was. If you pass the exam, you will receive a Course Certificate (different from a UniCann Certification) showing you completed the course and what your final exam score was. You will also receive UniCann Academic Credits for each course you complete, taking you one step closer to obtaining a UniCann Certification. Step Four: After The Class UniCann makes it easy to stay in touch with your professor and access learning material even after your class is over. Each professor has a Faculty Page on the UniCann website where you can rate his or her class, leave comments and even chat live- just like a social network. UniCann uses this information to help us adjust our classes and teaching style to make our classes more custom-tailored to our students. You will also now have access to our alumni section of the website. This section gives you access to a video recording of your class, past quizzes and tests and even allows you to connect with all of the other students that attended your class. UniCann encourages you to keep in touch and build your network to open the door for future opportunities! Â
