UniCann uses the following numbering system to designate the difficulty level of each course.  Numbers are assigned as follows:

• 01-49: Introductory level courses.
• 50-99: Intermediate level courses.
• 100+: Advanced level courses.

So, for example, Horticulture 001 would be for beginning growers, Horticulture 051 would be for intermediate growers and Horticulture 101 would be for advanced growers.  Introductory courses assume students have little or knowledge on the course subject.  Intermediate courses assume students have some practical experience and background on the course subject.  And Advanced courses assume students have extensive knowledge and expertise on the course.

Our courses are designed to be a progressive learning system.  So after taking Horticulture 001, for instance, Horticulture 051 will pick up right where you left off.  By the time you're done with Horticulture 101, you'll feel extremely confident on all aspects of growing. We try to have little or no overlap between courses, so all of the information you learn will be new information.
